The works are brilliant and amusing, but so plain and comprehensible that even children can hit upon the value in them: even when six-year-olds don’t comprehend the first thing regarding culture, they have little problem recognizing that something is amiss as soon as they are exposed to a drawing of the Mona Lisa with a rocket launcher.
